Researchers found in 2011, women earned 82.2% of what men made in per year but in 2012 that fell to 80.9%.
And on average, they lose $443,360 over a career. That number was calculated by multiplying the average wage gap per year of $11,084 by 40 years.
Women would have to work for an additional 12 years in order to catch up with what men make.
