  • Birthplace: Chicago, IL...A city known for its own brands of jazz, blues and soul.
    Family: One of 7 siblings; 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Married with children: 3 girls and 1 boy.
    Favorite Song: “Pain” by The Ohio Players (Yes, I am getting old). Think about it…It’s Nat Adderley’s “Hummin” with lyrics.
    Favorite musician(s): It’s a long list but at the top…John Coltrane and Carlos Santana.
    The one thing that may surprise you: My wife is not crazy about jazz…but she is a great wife, an excellent mother and a good friend…the jazz thing doesn’t seem that important now…does it?
    My goal: Entertain and enlighten...with a major emphasis on the entertainment part.
